Partial Work History
 
In 1977 Br. David received a Bachelor of Music degree from Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa, and attended Simmons College, Boston, Massachusetts, where he received a Master of Science Degree in Library Science, in 1987. He then completed post graduate studies in archival administration at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 1995. Br. David worked as a reference librarian and director of government documents from 1987-1995. From 1996-2006, Br. David was the archivist for both St. John's University and St. John's Abbey. Additionally, he serves on a number of abbey committees and is an abbey organist. (2010)
